Scandinavian Days!

Every year the whole Anderson family gets together for the festival Scandinavian Days. We do a food booth there and sell Sanpete BBQ turkey--its a famous food there and everybody loves it. We all work together in the booth and have lots of fun. This festival is always over memorial day weekend and so we always go to the cemetary to pay our respects to all my reletives in Ephraim. Thats always a good thing to do as well. Scandinavian Days is definatley something I look forward to every year. Here are just some more pictures of the festival.

Graduation

Congratulations to Bradley Anderson for graduating High School! I came home from the Ranch to go to my brothers graduation last weekend. It was good to get some experience for a week at the Ranch so I could know a little of what is going on. All my family was home for this and so it was a fun eventful night to be able to celebrate my brother. Congrats again! I wish the best for you.

Home on the Range....

So the time I have been home from school I have been preparing to go to Wyoming to be a cook at a Dude Ranch! I have been cooking nearly every breakfast and dinner since I have been home. I start work on the 15th of May to get trained and then I get to take a break and go to Hawii and then I am on my back to the range right after that. I will be working for my cousin and her husband and my brother will be out there as well so it should be lots of fun. The job description is to just cook... cook all day long--breakfast, lunch and dinner for all the guest and the crew and the family that will be up there. There could be up to twenty guests and there is twelve crew and family so I be really busy sweating over the hot stove trying to fix up a gormet meal. I think this will be a great oportunity and a ton of fun! Wish me luck!

The Last Days

Last week was finals! I never thought it would be over. I kind of miss snow already but I am so ready to move on to the next stage in my life. These last couple of weeks were also the last days with Ladd before he moved to Texas for the summer. We tried to do all the fun things we could but with finals going on, we were limited.

We did go camping one weekend with a bunch of people and that was a blast. It wasn't even that cold. We made tinfoil dinners and they were so yummy.

When we were camping, we had to find some wood for our fire so Ladd brought his handy dandy chain saw that didn't seem to want to work at all so he had to chop a lot of it by hand before he got it to work. He put on this orange vest just for laughs:)

I went to Salina one last time before he left for Texas and we went to a park and just took a few fun pictures. It was sandy.
